COLLECTIONS

Controlling all steps

Alma oversees the entire parquet production chain, from selecting the finest logs to the final finishes, dedicating the utmost care to every stage of processing. The production of the planks takes place at our facility in Hungary, chosen for its long-standing tradition in wood craftsmanship.

Finishing, quality control, and packaging are instead carried out in Italy, where each plank is refined and certified.

Step 1

Raw Material: Logs and Rough Boards

After the felling of selected trees from controlled and sustainable forests, the logs arrive at our facility. Our team proceeds with the cutting, carried out perpendicularly to ensure stability, uniform strength, and to prevent warping over time.

Step 2

Lamellae and the Sandwich

From the rough boards we obtain the lamellae, which are then glued onto the plywood in a process called the Sandwich. This step is essential to achieve a stable and durable structure.

Step 3

Grooving and profiling machine

After the Sandwich process, the material passes through the grooving machine, which performs the cuts needed to give the parquet greater elasticity.

It then moves to the profiling machine, where the tongue-and-groove joints are created on both the ends and the sides

Step 4

Finishing, quality control and packaging

Once profiling is complete, the raw parquet is sent to our Italian facility for the most delicate phase: finishing. Here, the planks are brushed to open the wood pores, then treated with protective varnish and worked until the desired appearance and performance are achieved. Each plank then undergoes a rigorous quality check before being packaged.

It is this attention to detail, combined with the final processing carried out in Italy, that makes our products truly Made in Italy parquet, ready to be installed in your homes.

Parquet: Rovere, Spazzolato, T02 Naturalizzato Collezione: Doghe Nel cuore di Dubai, all’interno di una residenza privata di altissimo profilo, siamo stati coinvolti nella realizzazione della pavimentazione in legno di un progetto architettonico dallo stile contemporaneo e scenografico. Un intervento che ha richiesto precisione, sensibilità estetica e competenze tecniche avanzate. Il contesto: luce, verticalità e materiali nobili L’appartamento si sviluppa su grandi volumi, con doppie altezze, vetrate a tutta parete e una vista mozzafiato sulla città. Gli interni combinano marmo, vetro, metallo e superfici retroilluminate, creando un equilibrio sofisticato tra modernità e calore. In un contesto così materico e architettonicamente forte, il pavimento aveva un ruolo fondamentale: doveva scaldare l’ambiente senza appesantirlo, accompagnare la luce naturale e valorizzare arredi e dettagli. The context: light, verticality, and noble materials The apartment unfolds across generous volumes, featuring double-height spaces, full-height glazing, and breathtaking views over the city. The interiors combine marble, glass, metal, and backlit surfaces, creating a sophisticated balance between modernity and warmth. In such a materially rich and architecturally bold setting, the flooring played a fundamental role: it needed to bring warmth to the space without weighing it down, complement the natural light, and enhance the furnishings and architectural details.
